ESMAC CHARITY RUN FOR RACERUNNING!

RaceRunning is a relatively new para-athletic sport for individuals with severe disabilities, like Cerebral Palsy GMFCS III-V. With a special device, the racerunner, those individuals are able to walk or even run, and participate in athletic sport events or competitions. RaceRunning is getting popular more and more in Europe, but in developing countries it is still difficult to implement RaceRunning due to financial issues.

Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation Association (CPISRA) is one of the leading international sports and recreation association for cerebral palsy. CPISRA will be using the money raised from the charity run to develop RaceRunning in Africa, South Asia and South America. RaceRunning gives the opportunity for the most severely impaired individuals the opportunity to experience the freedom to run. CPISRA's ambition is to provide access to RaceRunning for everyone who could benefit from using the frames, no matter where they are in the World.

As an illustration of CPISRA’s work, here you can see some pictures of a workshop RaceRunning in Kenia which was held in August 2019.

Help CPISRA with their work and RUN!  (Or just donate :-)
